Lol. I never do anything. Actually, I've been kinda busy doing lots of creative things. I just don't have much of a team anymore, so I don't post anything.
ANYWAY.
Not much to report. No promises. No exciting news, really. I've been doodling in-between working on music. I'm hopefully going to make an effort to get plugged back into a community, maybe do some art swaps, etc. I dunno. Something to kill time. Something for fun. Maybe even take some requests if I can get things moving again.
Not much been going on the past few years. People have moved off, gotten married, had kids. Ol' Cycon's still doing what he's always done: entertaining his dang ol' self! Anyway, if anyone still sees this or is out there and such, leave a comment or suggestion or whatever and I'll hit you back, check your arts out, or whatever. Just kinda bored.

Commissions and Junk: Is it worth it?
Okay, so basically the end goal of any artist is to be able to make money doing what they do anyway. Are there any artists out there who have some advice for how I can go about doing that? I keep thinking commissions would be a good idea. I could draw up whatever for set prices. That's practice PLUS portfolio, and you get a nice little tip for doing it. I've always enjoyed making stuff for others, so it seems legit. Problem is consistency...
Here's the gig: I'm in retail management. I get paid crap and have to deal with even more crap. I don't much care for it. However, bills.... SO, I'm looking for alternative sources that I could get into.

Hey, all. I've been workin' on stuff again, really trying to get back into everything. It takes a lot more time and patience than it used to. Maybe I'm old, maybe I'm just putting more effort in, but either way, it's pretty tiring at times! Overall, though, I'm having a good time drawing all the Podunkton stuff again, planning and organizing, and getting to talk to other artists and enthusiasts like I used to do.
